All Work And No Play Make Otters Go
Crazy. |

Hey, how's it going? Yeah, I know it's been a long time since I've called
or written, but you know I still love you baby. Aww, come on...Don't be
like that. Scooch closer. That's it...
I have been quite remiss on updating lately.
Those that have read the last few posts know that my fulltime employer recently
had some major issues (read: l337 hax0r'ings) that have kept me quite busy. If
that wasn't enough to capture my time, I've also had to restore a lot of my
drawings, graphics programs, and generally redo everything I've done. And
therein lies the good news. The site is getting revamped!
Nothing major, mind you, but I've wanted to streamline
and improve things here for a while and just hadn't had the time. Not that
I've got the time now, but if you're seeing this, you're looking at the new
version 2.0 Otter Otter site. Less ads, more content, and hopefully just
as quick if not quicker loading times. There's some other stuff on the
horizon too including some fancy schmancy RSS feeds and some more dynamic
goodies. The overall layout is remaining the same, just better.
I do want to thank all my friends and readers who stop
by, read my rants, laugh at my drawings, and have even visited some of my
supported advertisers. While I haven't become rich by any means, I see
good things ahead for the future. At my current rate of revenue, I stand
to be able to invest in a bottle of soda by fourth quarter of this year.
After the site has proven to run on this new format and layout, I plan on
updating the Store with new and improved merchandise. Because I'm all
about whoring myself out.
Again, not that I've had the time for it, but is it
just me or have games recently hit a summer lull? I remember when every
month you could find a great new release for any of a half dozen different
platforms, but not so recently. I'm looking forward to
Tiger Woods 2008,
because you all know how I am with character creators. Well, that and it's
the only way I'll ever hit a 400 yard drive in this lifetime. If all goes
well it should come out by the end of the month. I'll be at the local
game store slavering like a dog on release day, I'm sure.
